A Letter to the President

Dear President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I would like to take this opportunity to express my thoughts and concerns about your administration's efforts and the current state of our nation.

First, I would like to appreciate your effort in your leadership and vision for the Philippines. I would also like to commend you for continuing the critical infrastructure programs you started in previous administrations. Your administration's ongoing commitment to modernizing our transportation systems, roads, and public utilities is commendable. I recognized that these projects are vital to improving our country's connectivity which is essential for national development. I also want to express my hope that your administration continues to prioritize social welfare, education, and healthcare. I trust that under your leadership, we will see further reforms in these areas that will improve the lives of all Filipinos. I also want to state my concern because over the past months, many families have been struggling due to the continuous rise in food prices, particularly rice, vegetables, and other essential commodities. This situation is alarming, especially for low-income households who bear the brunt of these price hikes. I believe one key to addressing this issue lies in strengthening our agricultural sector. I respectfully urge you, Mr. President, to prioritize the concerns of Filipinos like me, as addressing them will greatly contribute to the well-being of our nation. I remain optimistic that your leadership will guide us towards a more prosperous and just society.

Sincerely,

Gerchelle Castaneda
